iVitality understands our customers’ lives are busy and that frantic feeling we experience when life is out of control is not good for our mental health. We also know that being able to express creativity is a great way to unwind and relax. So we are very excited to be introducing the Happy Planner brand to our Organise Collection!

Benefits of Journaling

Studies show that journaling has major benefits for our mental health and wellbeing as it has demonstrated to manage anxiety, reduce stress and even cope with depression (University of Rochester, n.d.). By incorporating a diary and journal in your life, it allows you to manage your overwhelmed feelings and understand and identify your main priorities to keep your mind at ease.

We all know there is nothing better than ticking off your to-do list! By journaling, it can encourage, and congratulate yourself by finally completing a task and physically removing it from your list. This can improve self-positivity and generate a better routine for the future. Keeping a journal has also shown to improve your mental health and is a good device to keep in touch and understand your emotions (University of Rochester, n.d.). Gratitude Journals have become increasingly popular in recent times as it has shown to boost our moods by focusing on the positive aspects of life (Singh. M, 2018). Inevitably, this has led to decrease stress and depression as it encourages us to keep positive.

Organisation is key to maintaining a clear mind and journaling allows us to organise every part of our life. It helps direct goal setting and keeping on track with tasks and obligations whilst generating easier decision making (Annette. N, 2012). Having a clear structured schedule will ensure you can track when tasks are required to be completed and can stay on top of things.
